About Brigade Air

Brigade Air’s unique youth mentoring curriculum and aviation camping program has challenged thousands of young people at nearly two hundred week-long camps in the US and overseas for 25 years. All without accident or injury, and for about the same cost as a week of sports camp. Our legacy summer camp programs continue with several of our partners now operating independently. Founder and Executive Director, Bruce Wolff is mobilizer, dynamic writer and speaker for conferences, churches, speakers bureau, service organizations and aviation events around the US. He can be reached through our contact page.

His memoir, “Finding Hope Navigating An Obscure Path: Learning to Trust God When You Can Barely Understand Him” will be released by Fidelis Publishing, January 14, 2026, pre-print available now.

The Continuing Need for New Personnel

Brigade Air was established in 2000 with Bruce Wolff as the Director. To date, Brigade Air has educated and inspired over 4,000 campers at nearly 200 summer camp weeks.

The week-long camps have been conducted in 21 US states (AK, CA, FL, ID, IN, ME, MI, NC, NH, NJ, NY, OH, OK, OR, PA, SC, TX, VA, WA, WI, WV) and five foreign countries; Canada, Romania, Hungary, Bahamas and Ecuador. Our camps have been safely conducted at remote runways surrounded by farmland, as well as metropolitan airports under New York City’s airspace.

The Brigade Air curriculum was written and published in 2001, and been used in churches, home schools, and aviation camps. Please use our contact page for curriculum inquiries.
