The Need for Missionary Aviation Personnel?

JAARS, MAF & ITEC Answer the Question

Brigade Air was established on June 1, 2000, with Bruce Wolff as the Director. To date, Brigade Air has educated nearly 4,000 campers in a total of 182 summer camp weeks over the last 22 years.

The week-long camps have been conducted in 21 US states and one province of Canada. (AK, CA, FL, ID, IN, ME, MI, NC, NH, NJ, NY, OH, OK, OR, PA, SC, TX, VA, WA, WI, WV, and Alberta, Canada). Partner programs have been conducted in Romania, Hungary, Bahamas and Ecuador. Our camps have been conducted at remote airports surrounded by farmland, as well as under New York City’s airspace.

The Brigade Air Book 1 curriculum was written and published in 2001. The curriculum kit contains a leader’s guide with Bible lessons integrated with aviation anecdotes, two interactive educational programs (courtesy of NASA), instructional videos on DVD, navigational tools, and educational wall posters.

There are currently about 70 churches, home-schools and Christian schools implementing the curriculum.
